Local Information

Watch the video about A SIMPLE GESTURE GREENSBORO  to learn ways to participate.

A SIMPLE GESTURE-GREENSBORO needs sponsors to cover the cost of our operations, primarily food bags and other routine operating expenses such as overhead items , utilities, and the expenses of maintaining our database hardware and software. We are dependent on volunteers for most of our work related activities. If you would like to talk about Sponsorship opportunities, please call 336-547-7000 or e-mail A Simple Gesture- Greensboro.

If you are already contributing food to our food banks/food pantries, thank you for your generosity. “A Simple Gesture” is not intended to replace your giving, but to make it easier and more convenient for more people to give.

We would also like to ask you to help us obtain more Volunteer Donors by enlisting the help of your neighbors and friends. Volunteer Donors are able to sign up on our website’s donation page or by completing an enrollment card and mailing it to us.
